The most interesting people with the best stories are ordinary people — stories of survival, love and great hardship. Obstacles overcome, usually untold.
I meet many of them while travelling through regional Victoria. I say hi in the street or cafes, ask about their lives, and often think “wow.” I then ask if I can record their story. I’m a nosy person.
These people often haven’t shared before or don’t see themselves as special. I do. I find them remarkable and am grateful they share. It feels like a gift.
So here they are. Pretty Much.
