I was commissioned to make a film for the Gunditjmara People in Heywood, Portland, Australia, about their dreaming and connection to their sacred land.
Which they recently bought back from the farmers with the help of a government grant.

This film was commissioned by The National Trust of Victoria for the new Polly Woodside Museum in Melbourne Australia.
The film follows the diary of first time seaman and ships carpenter, George Andrews.
It was shot in 4 days and nights on The Polly Woodside itself. We had to shoot mostly at night because I needed to hide the city skyline and all the new high rise apartments surrounding the Polly Woodside Ship.
I put the actors and non actors and stunt guys through hell. It was freezing and wet. But they loved it. We had a ball.
Everyone did their own stunts and also choreographed their fights scenes.

This is an edited version of a film I created for the Body Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. I also filmed a birth which followed this sequence.
This was before I had had my own children so it was an amazing experience.
And an unbelievably generous gift, of all the mothers involved - to allow me to film such a intimate moment in their and child lives.
